A 2006 BMW E90 was brought to us with a symptom where the vehicle would run fine but there was no diagnostic communication with any of the modules.
As always, we verified the client's complaint by performing diagnostic access using 3 different scan tools which all resulted in no communication, after which we verified wiring integrity and were able to rule out the junction box (JBE) module was simply not processing the diagnostic TX/RX signals.
As we are familiar with the internal architecture of these JBE modules, we performed an in-house component level module repair
